Church of Chebogue

The First Congregational Church of Chebogue was established in 1766. This building is the third incarnation of the church and the second on this location. The first building was built a short distance away in 1776 and was called the Chebogue Meeting House. The second church was built on this site in 1820.

Hantsport Memorial Centre

Hantsport Memorial Community Centre -Churchill House - BasementThis house was built shortly after shipbuilder Ezra Churchill sold the land to his son, John Wylie Churchill, in 1860. The house was a wedding present for his son. The younger Churchill lived there with his wife Mary and two daughters Violet and Laura until he died.

The 25 room Italiante mansion known as the Hillsdale House was built in 1859 for Susan Forbes Foster on land that had been the exercising ground for the garrison.

The Sinclair Inn

Situated in the heart of Annapolis Royal (formerly Port Royal) The Sinclair Inn may very well be one of the most significant heritage establishments in the town's Nationally designated historic district.

The Inn survives today as one of the very few examples of French regime Acadian construction. It is also the second oldest wood frame structure in Canada.

The Musquodoboit Bicentennial Theatre and Cultural Centre, a 3 level wooden building, was constructed in 1928 by the people of Middle Musquodoboit as meeting hall for the 'Old Fellows Lodge'.

Falmouth Baptist Church

Catalogue info: The first Falmouth Baptist Church was constituted in 1830, when a group of members from the Windsor Baptist Church organized a church in Falmouth. Construction was completed in 1831. In 1862 the Falmouth Baptist Church congregation discussed building a larger church to accommodate its expansion.
